“ Well worth driving out of your way for this one! Staff are lovely, flour milled on the premises, bread made on the premises. Food all sources locally. We had Kimcheese toasties, welsh rabbit , & a flapjack. All delicious & no short measures. Mill tours, gift shop & river garden to look around too. 14/8/25 Repeat visit and still love the food, sirloin sandwich this time delicious! ”

“ We stopped for lunch at Triggs, following a tour of the flour mill. We had a delicious lunch. The menu was interesting & fresh. The ingredients were delicious and well presented. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. They happily catered for dietary requirements, even making something ‘off menu’ for one of our friends. We’d thoroughly recommend. The café was step free and dog friendly. ”

“ Fantastic cafe. The food was exceptional, using home made fresh bread from the on site bakery. The staff are fantastic. We look foward to coming back for a bite to eat. ”

“ I stumbled upon Trigg’s at the mill en route back to my Shepherd's Hut after a long morning walking. I was greeted with smiles and served the most outstanding Welsh Rarebit, coffee and croissant. It seems I’d arrived on the cafes first day but you’d have never know. The service was brilliant and I went back the next day to try the kimchi toastie. Everything I tried was exceptional. If you are visiting Wales, make sure to visit after your walks for the full Welsh breakfast! Dog friendly ”

“ A real surprise and treat. We just stopped off after a camping trip and had the best lunch of our holiday. It's one of the few working mills left and is run by the community. It also has a lovely garden to walk around. The food was amazing. Great ingredients, well presented and very tasty. The staff were all super friendly as well. ”

“ A lovely choice of Sunday brunch options, including veggie 'full English'. Dog friendly. A bit pricey but the quality of the food and ingredients reflect this. Some of the best coffee I've had and great sourbread. Lovely to sit next to the water at the working water mill. ”

“ Just recently, Whilst having a ride out on my Triumph I had the pleasure of visiting Trigg's at the Mill in Talgarth. My distination wasn't to go here initially but my planned eating place was closed. As it turned out im pleased my 1st choice was closed as I discovered a real gem at the Mill. I was going to have a cooked breakfast, and as other peoples orders came out a breakfast looked fab, However they had a 'all day special' of Haddock and poached eggs on sour dough bread with pesto. What can I say.... The mixture of the eggs, pesto and Haddock was inspired. The taste of the 3 items together was unlike anything ive ever tasted. Truly lovely and I don't say that very often. I spoke with the staff and the Pesto was made by themselves. I was told by a gentleman outside that they had a michelin stared chef but I didn't have this officially confirmed. Apart from the food, the atmosphere was really nice and sitting by the window overlooking the river was really really pleasant. Sometimes as a biker I get sideways glaces as my helmet and jacket take up space but the staff said it was fine and they made md feel very welcome. The venue has no toilets but next door are suprisingly clean public toilets that are free of charge. The prices here are very fair considering the quality of the food and how challenging times are right now for businesses such as this. They take great pride in supporting local suppliers and I like that very much. Trigg's at the Mill seemed a really clean and well maintained establishment. Parking isn't the easiest but a short walk from local car parks is fine. Overall I would like to highly recommend Tigg's to all and i'm looking forward to going back with my wife to try more of the menu. ”
